Project Life Line Mission Statement:

To conduct a ground breaking survey establishing the full extent of parental abuse and child self harming.

Content:

Domestic violence from children is a growing problem in modern society, aided by underage drink/drug culture. To witness your child behave abusively towards you or themselves can be traumatising, and as a parents/guardians we want to help our children, thus seeking support from outside entities.

When the aforementioned parent can not solely deal with these problems, it is common to believe you are dealing with the matter in solitude.

Case study (project life founder):

“To watch your child coming out the bathroom pouring with blood from their arms/throats or legs is the most heartbreaking thing a parent can witness. I was at the end, not knowing which way to turn, crying all night, hoping in vein that things would get better. I have experienced all of these emotions and realised that although my daughter received help, there was no support for me as a parent”.

More Information:

Rates of self harm in the UK:

Self-harmers are 100 times more likely to commit suicide than the general population.

In 1998 about 160,000 were admitted to A&E with self-harm injuries in England and Wales. Of those about 24,000 were teenagers.

Across the world, children abusing their parents is becoming more and more of a common occurrence. The effects on parents can be tragic. Help is available for the children but the parents appear to be neglected in these tough times.

Please help us make changes to peoples lives and participate in the survey.
